A Systematic Literature Review of the Child Neglect Measurement Scale

Child neglect has an important impact on children's physical and mental development. However, the concept definition of child have not been unified, evaluation methods, discriminant standards measurement scales used in different countries are also different. To summarize analyze characteristics limitations existing tools, this study searched 5 Chinese English databases, obtained 22 studies measurement, conducted a systematic literature review them. The results show that still unified. Most good reliability validity, but there differences regions, groups, ages, methods translation versions, most them do pay attention to duration. Studies lack support from prevalence data. It can be seen researchers need further develop about tools neglect. On basis, comprehensive for subjects, improve accuracy scientificity translated version, make it more suitable national cultural context.
